  Where do I begin? The hardest part about me and my family leaving Colorado was leaving this church. They are large enough that they have a worship team, youth ministry, VBS, Awanas, mission trips, and even a drama team. Yet they are small enough for everyone to get to know each other. My sons loved this church! Every week they would tell me what they learned in Sunday School and I was able to watch my six year old develop a real hunger for learning about God and Jesus.
  
  The pastor, every week, knew when to challenge me mentally and spiritually, he knew when to make us laugh, and when it was serious. His sermons always contained the meat and potatoes you desire in sermons. Every week I learned something knew about the Bible and he presented a new way of looking at stories I had heard my entire life.
  
  The pastor made it clear, he doesn't want fake, Sunday church face, every one is amazing type of congregation. He wants real people with real problems. This was the first Church in my life that I could be exactly who I was every other day of the week. This is a church of imperfect people, doing the best they can and learning about each other a God on this walk we call life. No one cares how much money you make, what your clothes look like or what mistakes you have made in the past. They don't judge, only support you. When my wife had to pack up the house to help move, I was already working at a new job and didn't have the vacation time to go help, the pastor himself and volunteers from the church came and helped.
  
  When the waldo canyon fire happened our church sent volunteers to help in any way possible they could. They are truly living the great commission, and all along the way understanding that they aren't perfect, and no one expects them to be. Words aren't enough to describe how amazing our church was. If you are looking for a Church to call home, this Church fits that description better than any other I've ever attended.
