  How is it that tax funded buildings--Palmer Park High, are being used to support churches that are capable of supporting themselves? This church, whether it is renting the school or not, should lease privately owned property. I object to my tax dollars being used to support religion. By the way, why the school? What may be driving this? I'm just curious.

  New Life Downtown is a committed community of Christ followers who gather each week to worship, connect and serve. This is a great church serving the downtown area. Glenn Packiam and his team are doing really good work.

  I have never been part of a church body before that is such a unique blend of various traditions -- fantastic & Spirit-led worship, great teaching, and liturgy. This church is "in the city for the city" and exemplifies an alternative kingdom narrative to the normal way to live in America.

  We have visited the last two weeks, and have been delighted with the prevalent reverence for God, the friendliness of the congregation, and the gentle care for our young children.
  
  This church is liturgical and has struck to my core as a Christian each time I have come. God is real and accessible (Romans 10:9), and the pastors and worship leaders have a unique way of approaching God and connecting with Him. This then connects the Church body.
  
  A loving, friendly church I would quickly recommend to friends and family.
