  i feel like an overlooked position for ministry is the receptionist who is the face and heart representing the church to the outside who come in need. It seems the same at churches i visited, the receptionist is usually older, not passionate or equipped. This trend is troubling. Its normally ordered from pastors to send away those in need, Where are the Roman 12 churches. Where are those that truly hunger and thirst for The Word. A Phil. 2 attitude, for the sake of The Gospel, God, and others...

  5 weeks in a row and know one seemed to care. Filled out a visitor card . . . . haven't heard from anyone yet. Not a friendly place. How sad.

  I have actually never been to this Church. However, ironically, I only lived less than 2 miles from it and didn't realize that Gary Wilkerson was the pastor there until receiving the monthly new letter from World Challenge. Unfortunately, I no longer reside in Colorado. However, I have always enjoyed the writtings and lessons of scripture by his father, David Wilkerson. Now Gary has taken his place. Just based on my news letters and what is shared by Gary I would have to say I would have greatly appriciated going to this Church. The Lord sure works in mysterious ways and this story about the Wilkersons goes way back to a great friend of mine who passed away just prior to my move to Colorado Springs. I'd like to go on but perhaps this is too length for a review. I'd like to give great thanks to God for his grace and "Ultimate favor" a lesson by Gary I just finished reading. Thank you World Challenge for continued uplifting love of God's word.

  I have been going to this church for years. (On and off because I don't go every week and we moved very far southeast Colo Springs)
  My favorite church, ever!
  I love how it's not all in your face. You aren't judged for what you wear, or if you miss a week or 4. Everyone is kind. Pastor Gary has such a passion for Jesus and what the Lord has brought him to Colorado to do.
  I was brought up in New Life Church. My parents switched to this church too.
  If we aren't going here, it's either Rocky Mountain Calvary off Austin bluffs and Academy (phenomenal church) or Calvary off 30th street. Love them. Top 3 in Colorado Springs, in my opinion.
