  This review is a little overdue, but words can never fully capture what it means to lose someone one loved, and certainly no amount of time will allow one to forget what they meant to him or her. I lost my father on January 8th, 2016, and Ron as Swan Law Funeral Home in Colorado Springs was wonderful during this difficult time. He not only provided comfort, but helped do everything in his power to ensure the process wasn’t too burdensome on our pocketbooks either. His help with obtaining the DD-214 my father needed to get military honors was instrumental and timely. His swift actions when I needed him are greatly appreciated for years to come. Going to a funeral home is not like going to the doctor, where you are nothing but a number and the level of care is insufficient. Going to a funeral home means this is a moment in one’s life they will carry forward with them until they pass on as well. A bad funeral director is far worse than a bad cashier—the impact is too great. Ron had stayed with us, even when we ultimately decided to transfer the body to Chapel of Memories for the cremation, and provided tremendous support. Whenever I reached out, he was quick to respond, and take swift action, even after hours. For instance, he even stayed after the funeral home at closed so that I could pick up the urn, which turned out exactly the way I wanted it. He once responded to a text message I had sent to him at 8:30p, and for this I cannot say how grateful I am for his help in such a turbulent time.
  
  I may be young, but if I were to pass too early, I would want Ron, and Swan Law, to take care of my family and ensure I receive the proper services needed to finalize the life I lived as well.

  My family just had the experience of dealing with the very unexpected death of a loved one by suicide. Swan-Law and in particular Hope Alvarez did a great job with the service and guiding us through a difficult time. I cannot say enough about their professionalism and compassion. It is sometimes hard to have both, but Hope did just that! Thank you again for taking a very bad situation and helping us make it positive in my sister, Deanna "Sunny" Lane's celebration of life.

  VERY compassionate and caring. They helped coordinate everything with another funeral home in California where my mother was to be buried, and made me aware of errors that would have cost me additional money. Throughout this whole process, they treated me with humble respect and kindness. My mother looked lovely. I deeply thank them and especially Ron Snell - director, who helped me so much during such a difficult time.

  I would give swan law infinite stars if I could. Ron Snell did an amazing job with my grandfathers funeral. Ron arranged everything with the US Air Force for my grandfathers military honors. He has gone out of his way to order a copy of the plaque that was on my grandfathers vault and he worked so hard to get my grandfathers funeral done in a short period of time. No wonder Swan Law has been around for so long.

  Swan Law has provided then most awful experience in dealing with the death of a loved one. They are unorganized, do not call you back when they say they will and overall NOT a company you want to deal with when making arrangements for a funeral. My wife and I will go to all ends to ensure that it is known this is an awful organization to work with!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
